Good morning. Good afternoon. Good evening.
This is Jonathan Satovsky of Satovsky Asset Management. And on today’s episode of Seeking Wisdom, Wealth and Wellness, I wanted talk about aspirations.
Aspirational wealth, aspirational wellness, aspirational whatever. There’s an ideal and there’s where we are and every day, at least I am, trying to progress to a better version of myself in every way, every circle of life. That being said, in finance, my own aspiration for my own wellness is to have some balance. Whether it’s balance in an investment portfolio, it could be balance in paying myself first, trying to ideally save 10% for my future self, and paying 10% to others.
Maybe when you start you can only save 1% and you can only donate 1%, but you keep progressing to the ideal. And there’s a gap between the ideal and where you may be, but it doesn’t mean you can’t keep aspiring, a little bit better each and every day to try to provide the balance and the equilibrium where you’d like to be. That’s in finance, you can apply this to every area of your life. Waking up with good habits of meditating, journaling, exercising, whatever it is, prayer, whatever it is that helps you stay healthy, wealthy and wise — keep on keeping on. Take one step forward each and every day in the journey toward your aspirations and one day, you’ll look back and you’ll say, “wow.”
Celebrate the progress you’re making every day. Have a wonderful day.
