Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, whatever part of the world you’re in. This is Jonathan Satovsky of Satovsky Asset Management.
And on today’s episode of Seeking Wisdom, Wealth, and Wellness, I want to talk about the assets that matter. I just listened to a podcast from Mitch Albom and Oprah Winfrey on Tuesdays with Morrie, and there are so many brilliant lessons about lifting other people up and being compassionate to each and everyone around you, and defining your values and your standards on your own terms rather than other people’s terms.
And I just want to express, on this short little anecdote, a tremendous amount of gratitude for the fact that in the field of financial planning and wealth management, the vast majority of people that I’ve helped the last 25 years and that I hope I’m blessed enough to meet the next 25 years…when I started, the vast majority of people that hired me when I was 22 years of age were 60 and over. Some 70, 80, 90 years of age. And the wisdom and the brilliance to which they brought grace and elegance and understanding and compassion, I learn more every day than what I possibly contributed to their lives, so just… God gave you two ears, one mouth, listen, observe, be present, learn, share, and lift those up around you on your path to wisdom, wealth, and wellness, and celebrate the blessings.
Enjoy, have a great day.
